As many of you have asked, I have added a Download section that contains the same software as is supplied on your Install CD.

In the future, as news is released by QHY, i will post it here for all to read.

Also here, will be any issues to any of the cameras, either hardware or software.

3-12-2010 I'm pleased to announce the new QHY-8L, QHY-10, and QHY-11, all tested and passed with flying colors (Well, the QHY-11 doesnt have colors, its a Mono).

The results from the QHY-8L, were really good, and I cant tell any difference from the previous model. Even in 1x1 Bin mode, using its 2 field readout, short exposures were really smooth, and no sign of any deformity or uneveness. QHY has designed it so it doesnt have many of the issues as other 2 field readout CCD's. The Sony sensor here again just rocks !. It has same great QE, and low noise as the ICX 453, but is much cheaper. Cooling was superb, and never gave any problems with dew or any moisture related issues.

I ran it at -15 when the humidity was 97 % and the temp was 21. I didnt need to push the cooling any further, as this level i find a good cooling point.

The QHY-10 is basically the same as the QHY-8L except for its higher cooling and higher pixel count (ICX-493AQA). Again, this is another great camera, with another Sony powered SuperHad. The QE is really good on this CCD as well, and the testing i did on it, also had no condensation issues. The extra thickness of the chamber filter glass really does hinder moisture issues.
